91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳partners with RCYCL for cool new era
Shoppers at Mirvac’s retail centres are invited to embrace sustainable shopping this month as a part of a brand-new winter campaign, Cool New Era.
In collaboration with RCYCL, 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳will be rewarding customers who embrace sustainable shopping habits by recycling clothing and textiles that have seen better days. RCYCL collection boxes will be established across the 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳retail centres, making it easy for shoppers to drop off unwearable clothing. A special focus will be on specific retailers within Mirvac’s shopping centres who already practice sustainable shopping habits.
Alison Flemming, General Manager, 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳Retail said being an environmentally conscious shopper is a fantastic way of making a positive impact on the environment and giving back to the community.
“We are thrilled to be launching our winter campaign with sustainable shopping at its core. We often forget how much clothing we accumulate over time, so we are offering customers a way to recycle the unwearable items they no longer need,” said Ms Flemming.
“Each week, we will also track how many kilograms of textiles and clothing shoppers drop off at the collection boxes in-centre. These numbers will then be shared on our centre websites and social media pages for our shoppers to see their impact,” said Ms Flemming.
“RCYCL enables everyone to have access to being responsible with their unwearable garments that cannot be donated. We are thrilled to able to partner with 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳for maximum impact across their amazing retail precincts. It is great to see 91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳being a leader in the sustainability space and take action at scale,” said RCYCL.
91×ÔÅÄÂÛ̳will also be giving customers the chance to win $5,000 for a winter refresh - simply spend at participating centres to enter the draw. Each centre will be hosting experiences including sustainability-themed workshops and markets.
Mirvac’s network of influencers is also set to produce exciting and engaging content to inspire consumers to shop mindfully through fashion hacks, like creating a capsule wardrobe or pairing last season items with this season.
